Course Overview

This course equips students with the practical skills and technical knowledge required to work as a roof plumber in the construction industry. The course focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems, including metal roofs, drainage systems, and flashings, across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Entry Requirements

Delivery Modes

This course is delivered through a combination of face-to-face training and practical learning in either a real workplace or a simulated environment. The training approach ensures students gain hands-on experience aligned with industry expectations.

Course Completion

To successfully complete this qualification, students must achieve competency in all required units. This includes 20 core units and 3 elective units selected according to packaging rules. Completion of all units will result in a nationally recognised qualification.

Assessment

Assessment is competency-based and involves practical demonstrations, workplace tasks, and evidence of skills application. Students are evaluated on their ability to perform real-world roofing and plumbing tasks to industry standards.
